Dulcie Carlyon is a historical novel set in Europe and Africa against the Anglo-Zulu war between British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom. It follows the story of a British regiment that goes to war and a young Devonshire damsel Dulcie, whose beloved Florian is on the way to Africa.
