I've listened to this novel nearly three or four times. I am a quasi-fan of Halle’s original series; these characters stem, but i must say this book is more powerful in every sense of the word than all eleven books combined. The character's relationship expansion plays out hauntingly captivating. This book feels like a trilogy in one. The rollercoaster relationship and uncomplicated story arc leave you thirsty for more. It's in its league with this book. The next in the series hasn't been written yet, according to Karina, so I encourage anyone with a soft spot for this book to reach out to her and express how much it would mean for her to start writing the third.
