I don't have the words to describe what this book has done to me. What a beautiful story. The immense presence of grief being that which acts as the coil of the machine that is Edmond Dante's revenge makes each deed the more melancholic. This is a very clever novel. I'm glad to have had the privilege of listening to- and reading it. The narration was perfect. I switched from a younger narrator to this one and the distinct voices for each character made this read even more magical and adventurous.
