Filled with daring exploits among disgruntled hunters, arduous labor on the African plains, and vivid depictions of various wildlife, this remarkable tale is at once an adventure story, a travelogue, a preservationist call to action, and a fascinating examination of both human and animal nature.

The story is not that high paced in the beginning, but you learn a lot about the works behind it and the longer you listen/read, the more you get involved. The hardships they go through emotionally and physically brings sorrow, but they persist through it all and high risk can be high reward in this case.
