When Maddie Chase, a fangirl and pro footballer, gets injured before her debut in the season opener for the world-renown Southgate FC, she enlists the help of a fellow injured comrade-in-arms, the phenom player Jesse Windmeier.

She just didn’t expect him to be a giant pain in her ass, or distract her from getting back on the field with his talent and good-looks. When Jesse realizes that training Maddie has quickly become the highlight of his day and wants to spend more time with her, Maddie doesn’t know what to do.

Her life has always been about achieving her one goal - playing pro and winning all the accolades, and Jesse...Jesse's become something of a distraction.
