You can’t outrun who you are.
Dustin robs banks, drinks hard, and lives by his own code of loyalty in a world that has none. When he moves in with his girlfriend Theresa, the hardened thief finds himself playing house and hoping that a man like him could build something like a family.
To keep the cash flowing, Dust takes a job collecting gambling debts for a local gangster, all while feeding his addiction to risk, booze, and an affair on the side. The more he tries to balance love and his profession, the more the scales tip toward disaster.
With enemies circling and the law closing in, Dust has to decide what freedom really means to him... and what he's willing to burn to keep it.
Gritty yet tender, Rob Pierce's UNCLE DUST is a razor-sharp noir thriller.
'Rob Pierce is one of the more imaginative literary voices in our new emerging era of noir.' - James Grady, author of Six Days of the Condor and Shadows on Sidewalk
