Worrals Investigates

A chance meeting with Air Commodore Raymond of Scotland Yard, and Worrals and her friend Frecks are away again on a journey charged with mystery and danger. Outside Island, a British possession in the Pacific, is a tiny atoll with the reputation of being haunted. The crew of a native boat on a trip to the island for copra are fired on by a white woman with red hair and one of their number, a French subject, is killed. The French authorities suggest that the matter should be investigated and Air Commodore Raymond decides that here is a job after Worrals’ heart—and he is right: with her customary eagerness for adventure she is soon making preparations for the long journey to the South Seas...
