Die zweite Geschichte (Der Mann in Schwarz) schildert Geschehnisse rund um den Beginn von Rolands unablässiger Suche nach dem Mann in Schwarz aus den Romanen Tot und Schwarz. Danach folgt Scheemies Geschichte, die aus der Perspektive eines jungen Gefängnisausbrechers in Endwelt erzählt wird. Unheiliger Boden ist eine Geistergeschichte über ein Abenteuer Roland Deschains mit seinem ersten Ka- Tet. So fiel Lord Perth schließlich ist Stephen Kings Mittwelt-Version von David und Goliath. Diese kleinen Geschichten aus Mittwelt sind wertvolle Mosaiksteinchen, die das Gesamtbild des Revolvermanns vervollständigen. Stephen Kings Hauptwerk, der achtbändige Romanzyklus um den Dunklen Turm, wird hier als Graphic Novel präsentiert. Dies ist Band 5 der siebenteiligen Deluxe-Reihe von DER DUNKLE TURM.
