Den Kolde Krig sluttede fredeligt … Troede vi indtil den 24. februar 2022, da Rusland invaderede Ukraine. For mange europæere var det en øjenåbnende begivenhed, og datoen 24.02 kom til at rumme sin helt egen fortælling. Men hvorfor havde vi europæere ikke set det komme?

Ukraine er arealmæssigt det største land i Europa, men indtil 24.02 fyldte det ikke meget i vores bevisthed. Heller ikke selvom Rusland annekterede Krim i 2014. Men nu mærker vi de øgede priser og udfordringen for klimaet.
