I really, really loved this book, and will love to share it widely. I grew up in Norway and lived there till I was 23. With my spouse and 4 children, we have been living in several places of the world. We have been in the USA since 1997, and we have become US citizens. I can relate to the puzzling feelings that Hans has about the trustworthiness of government. In Norway most everybody trusts the government, and most everybody trusts the news they are fed. (Is the government in Norway as transparent and trustworthy as the population believes???) The journey of truth and honesty that I see as a silver lining in this book, is above all impressive and that’s exactly how our government under the Constitution should work. I did have to step back somewhat, however, listening to the Epilogue. The understanding of what Trump represents and does for the population does not seem to be understood. Throughout my listening of this book, I equated Massie and Trump as fighting the same Demons. ONE, against the whole establishment. Then again, the establishment is just an arm for the Deep State that secretly rules the world. I was surprised that Hans in the epilogue negated the Deep State, and just thought it’s about a deep government. Also, that he must have been caught in the web of the “Fake News” when it comes to what Trump represents, and what he wants to create for “We, The People!” I hope he will dig deeper and come out with a sequel to this book, that I for sure will buy. Hans and Massie come through as great representatives of the beautiful human beings that we are. I will for sure follow Massie’s journey forward. I love what he stands for. Eva
