Calming Anxiety

As you probably know, anxiety originates from fear; one of our oldest emotions is automatically activated in many situations.

Its original function is to warn and protect us from danger. This danger is sometimes clearly identified but not always; it can be irrational, diffuse, and sometimes seems indefinable. This is the birth of anxiety. Fighting anxiety is a natural tendency but requires a lot of energy and often unnecessarily so. Anxiety is a very strong feeling, in our hearts and bodies.

We can feel overwhelmed, defeated, discouraged, lose all visibility, lack space, and struggle to catch our breath. Anxiety can be a handicap in our lives. How can we alleviate this feeling, this state of being? How can we calm anxiety, soothe it? To feel deeply free and relieved.

The anxiety meditations I propose in this program are specifically designed to help us not drown in painful anxiety. Learning to surf through anxiety rather than getting lost in its turmoil."

Si vous souhaitez une légère modification pour améliorer la fluidité, voici une version ajustée :

"As you likely know, anxiety stems from fear, one of our most primal emotions, which is automatically triggered in many situations.

Originally, its purpose is to alert and protect us from danger. However, this danger isn't always clearly defined; it can be irrational, diffuse, and sometimes seems indescribable. This is how anxiety arises. While it's natural to fight anxiety, it often consumes a lot of energy and is frequently unnecessary. Anxiety is a powerful sensation felt deeply in our hearts and bodies.

We can feel overwhelmed, defeated, and discouraged, losing all sense of direction, feeling cramped, and struggling to breathe. Anxiety can significantly hinder our lives. How can we alleviate this feeling and state of being? How can we calm and soothe anxiety to feel deeply free and relieved?

The anxiety meditations I offer in this program are specifically crafted to help us navigate through painful anxiety without becoming overwhelmed. Instead of getting lost in its turmoil, we learn to ride through it.
