Alva seems to have it all, but despite a beloved son, she feels unhappy. She longs to return to work instead of being on maternity leave, and can't help envying her sister Sanna, whose life seems so much simpler. By chance, Alva meets 75-year-old Magdalena, who is struggling with a complicated relationship with her adult son, and this becomes the start of an unexpected friendship and mutual support.
