The Lion and the Lynx : Finnish Science Fiction and Fantasy Stories Vol. 2

Finnish fantastic genre literature has experienced significant growth over the past 25 years. It explores deep forests and the roots of mythology while also envisioning a brighter future. Over the last decade, Osuuskumma has become the leading independent publisher of genre in Finland, offering quality fiction for adult readers. The Lion and the Lynx is the third English-language story collection published by the Osuuskumma cooperative.

The authors featured in The Lion and the Lynx include established science fiction and fantasy writers such as J.S. Meresmaa and Jussi Katajala, as well as emerging talents like Toni Saarinen and Frida Burns. This anthology is being published to celebrate the Archipelacon 2 event in Mariehamn, set for June 2025.

Welcome to the world of Finnish fantastic literature!

The collection is edited by Saara Henriksson.
