The Story of Burnt Njáll, also known as Njáls saga, is a thirteenth-century Icelandic saga that describes events between 960 and 1020. It considers blood feuds in the Icelandic Commonwealth. The tale's main characters are the friends Njáll Thorgeirsson, a lawyer and a sage, and Gunnar Hámundarson, a warrior. They were both drawn into a conflict based on the requirements of honor and lasted several decades. The Story of Burnt Njáll is one of the complete literary sagas of the Icelandic epos and is an excellent read for the fans of Medieval literature.
