Major trigger warning of rape by the mmc of the fmc, this book is from the 80s and carries several problematic elements by todays standard, so beware if you are troubled by domestic violence, misogyni, sexual violence, general violence and a mmc who is beyond stupid and an asshat throughout All that being said, i really enjoyed this story, a strong fmc who is, most of the time, far more capable than the men around her, unapologetically herself and stands up for herself in both big and small ways Ill also mention that i am very easy reader, if a book can make me feel, and keep me entertained (and not sevearly annoyed or angry) then i am happy with it
