Homeschooled Amelia is excited to return to regular school after years of traveling and can’t wait to make new friends. However, the transition is much harder than Amelia imagined. Everything about her feels wrong, from her clothes

So when Amelia is given the opportunity to work at an alpaca ranch, she’s overjoyed by the chance to be doing something she’s good at—taking care of animals. And soon, the alpacas and their owners start to feel like real friends.
