The book is a slow burner but at the same time I got a bit confused by how fast their intimacy grew over one night. I can absolutely understand attraction and that magnetic pull, but that is not enough to make you want to risk your life for a pretty smile one month after knowing somebody, then again, I guess that’s what YA books is all about. I enjoyed the fact that we get a “new” supernatural being - or more of a sophisticated zombie. It’s a new world I enjoyed learning about and I hope there will be more world building in the next one.
