Friendzoned

She had everything but love from her parents, now she's got nothing. He came from nothing, but had the love and support from his family, now he's successful. They were highschool friends, but only behind closed doors. This book circulates around status and money. Some very flippent behaviour from both characters and issues that doesn't really get solved, just suddenly forgiven and forgotten without any growth of the characters. It's an okay book but far from excellent. I enjoyed the previous books more, and we do get to hangout with several of the characters from other books in the Busy Bean collection.

Bland and beige. Uneven and juvenile. DNF:ing at 40% after reviews confirm this is as good as it gets. Too bad. Wanted to like this one. Ugh.
