This one keeps afloat but not much more unless the next one is close by to continue on the story. With quippie banter and lots of verbal sparring it starts out like it’s a 5 ⭐️ There’s a good deal of sass mixed in with other classics of the genre. We’ve got the over the top best friends, the lavish lifestyle in contrast to the mundane and everyday, as well as the fact that it’s been ”quite a while” since our leading lady got her freak on. An unsung hero with a heart of gold just waiting for that surprisingly stunning, quirky, cute and independent stick of dynamite in denim to blow his mind. All in all the book is a quick and fun read -if not a uniquely memorabel one. There is the case of our main mans lack of confidence and self esteem, which becomes teadious. It feels odd and it never really comes to light why or if it is warented in any way. A cute read that makes me want to get my hands on the next one and finding out more of the story.
