I liked this one very much. It is very different than the other V&V books and the store and bar is barely mentioned. The 2 MCs are sweet, particularly Sean. I like how he knows himself but has a lot to learn and how he braves his fears by asking awkward questions. I loved how they're both "damaged" by very different things and how it's never approached as problems but how to face what life throws at you. This book touch upon very difficult situations and subjects (PTSD and attempts of brainwashing by torture) with a lightness I didn't expect. I never felt any angst either for their relationship or they health. It was very sweet and interesting story.

This book was amazing!! I laughed, cried and sometimes was so angry I wanted to scream. Why is it so hard for some people to accept love, wherever we find it and whoever we love?
