{House Mates is a stand-alone book series and can be read in any order}
Four elite male assassins—each with a distinct set of lethal skills—are betrayed by their own organization during a covert mission. Wounded and on the run, they stumble upon a remote cabin deep in the wilderness. The cabin belongs to a reclusive woman named Rayne, who they reluctantly take hostage as they hide out and wait for a chance to escape. What begins as a tense, dangerous situation soon evolves into something deeper as the assassins grow increasingly captivated by Rayne, who challenges their hardened exterior. As their enemies close in, the lines between captor and protector blur, and unexpected passions ignite, creating a deadly mix of desire, lust, and danger.

It’s amazing that this got published. It’s so poorly written and half the time you are wondering why you’re reading the same lines again, only to realize that the author has just regurgitated the same shit again. It could have been a good story, if they had actual character and character development but that’s like non existent. The girl is happy and fulfilled alone but then four men arrives and she can’t be happy without them. Only reason I didn’t DNF it was cause it was so short.
