This MMCs inner monologues are absolutely top of the chart. I love when Kendall writes this kind of tongue in cheek snark and self loathing. His references are so quirky and nerdy. And in this book it’s the GUY who’s the younger cute and quirky one, who’s in total awe of the incredibly hot and 10 year his senior, sleek and sophisticated, law firm owning bad ass boss lady. WITHOUT becoming some weird mommy-fetish-y power exchange thing. He comes across as well versed, educated, smart and more Man than man boy.
