Boken ger en god inblick in i hur det var att flyga de stora bombplanen över Europa under andra världskriget. Den påminner om boken "Pastoral" av Nevil Shute och "Serenade to the big bird" av Bert Stiles. De båda andra tillhör mina absoluta favoriter, och nu har denna boken kvalificerat sig hit också.
