The epilogue was a real tearjerker. I found the book somewhat slow and uneven, but the writing was still excellent and I loved that Parker had her own book characters cheering her on in her mind, that was a fun quirk to the book. James’ family members were terrible, but his relationship with his sister was so, so sweet.
