Det är en fantastiskt intressant bok, där flygkapten "Sully" Sullenberger beskriver sin uppväxt och sitt långa yrkesliv som jaktpilot i U S Airforce och sedan som trafikflygare. Han beskriver detaljerat om den nödlandning han gjorde som kapten på den Airbus med 155 ombord som fick motorstopp på båda motorerna ett par minuter efter start. Det fanns ingen plats någonstans i New York under honom, som man kunde landa på utan att planet slogs sönder och explodera, det var ju fulltankat. Så han valde att landa på vattnet i Hudsonfloden. Det kallas för "Miraklet på Hudsonffloden, för alla överlevde, och bara några få fick skador.
