A survival story different from all other stories I’ve read about in regard to Ww2 and the holocaust in particular. It was a fascinating read, because the book is written by the woman who the book is based around and the reader sees everything either through the eyes of the child or sometimes the author switches to a brief omniscient storytelling style. I appreciated the book a lot and it was a very different experience to read about as well as the twist in the end of the book! It was a great read though and through. Respectfully, Grace
