Read by a full cast of narrators, Trust by Hernan Diaz is a sweeping, unpredictable novel about power, wealth and truth, set against the backdrop of turbulent 1920s New York. Perfect for fans of Succession.
Can one person change the course of history?
A Wall Street tycoon takes a young woman as his wife. Together they rise to the top in an age of excess and speculation. But now a novelist is threatening to reveal the secrets behind their marriage, and this wealthy man’s story - of greed, love and betrayal - is about to slip from his grasp.
Composed of four competing versions of this deliciously deceptive tale, Trust brings us on a quest for truth while confronting the lies that often live buried in the human heart.
'One of the great puzzle-box novels, it’s the cleverest of conceits, wrapped up in a page-turner' – Telegraph

The Book is like ”Russian dolls” - a story within a story within a story. Hernan Diaz brings out four different characters that retell the story of a rich couple in the twenties and thirties from their own perspective and with their own motives. The stories differ not only in what they retell but also how it is retold. Only when we hear the last narrative do we get the full story and understanding what occurred. This is literature at its best. The stories are masterly read by four different people. Excellent!

Wow, finished the book with chills. No so much because of the story the the writing and delivery was great. Never read a book with this type of narration and it was very interesting, confusing at first but as you slowly realise it becomes intriguing
