Connor is my opposite in almost every way.
I'm a bookworm; he's a bodyguard. I have trouble speaking up for myself; he's direct, brash even.
But the more I get to know my new pen pal, the more I see beneath the former navy SEAL's tough exterior.
He's a hero, and he's hurting. But he's also so much more than he gives himself credit for.
It doesn't matter that we live on opposite sides of the country and have never laid eyes on each other. We talk every day, sometimes for hours.
Our attraction is undeniable, and our growing connection is becoming impossible to ignore.
But when Connor asks to meet, I can't help but worry that our chemistry won't be enough. That I won't be enough.

I really liked this one, sure the initial infatuation between the main characters were kind of quick but their story was really sweet. I also like it when the excitement/dramatics aren’t always a result of a misunderstanding or jumping to conclusions but that it like in this case comes from an outside source. The prose is nice and flows well throughout and the narration is excellent. Some parts maintaining to side characters that created some unresolved plots due to the MMCs initial relationship hangup I’d like to see resolved. They were dropped unfortunately and who knows it might be due to an upcoming book but felt a bit snubbed still. Aside from that a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
