After the cliffhanger in the previous book I was aghast at how the author decided to tie up that loose end. Bit cruel to both the reader and fmc. That aside, this third entry in the series is more mystery, less magic. I find msyelf frequently having to suspend my disbelief, not only due to Ella being accepted by all and sundry as a police detective. Still, off to find book 4!
