Liverpool, 1999. Andy Ross and his investigation team find the remains of a human skeleton on the banks of the River Mersey.
The murder dates back more than thirty years earlier and the victim, a young local musician, was killed in a gruesome way. The story is then intertwined with that of Marie, a girl who disappeared at the time of the murder.
The investigation will make the cops take a leap into the past, into the roaring sixties, when Liverpool was rocking to the rhythm of rock and beginning to free itself from social, political and religious oppression.
