The strong have survived. Now they must endure.
Ashlani rose to the position of Alpha just in time to guide his people away from the humans' attacks. Despite evolution and careful planning, over a thousand of his kin fell during the escape, and now the survivors find themselves surrounded by faces only marginally friendlier than the humans.
Under Nievtala's command, the swarm must continue east, but no one knows how far or how long their journey will last. Mountains, rivers, and plains still lie ahead, filled with unknown peoples and deadly foes. Ashlani can only hope that beyond it all waits the next step of their evolution—ascension to something greater.
Only one question remains: can his followers survive to see that future?
Don't miss the next chapter of this LitRPG series, where one predator's rise sparks the dawn of a new species.
