Strong story, great characters, fun banter. Not the typical dark and gruesome mafia style story as so many others, this one is more character driven and with a lighter vibe. The MCs don’t meet until a few chapters in and both MCs are involved with others love interest previous to meeting, which felt a bit off. There’s a typical dumb and stubborn 3rd act breakup shattering the MCs with a bit too much repetitive whining for my taste, but it works and wraps up the character growth nicely.
