Kanadensaren, ekonomiprofessorn och författaren Stephen Leacock (född 30 december 1869 och dog 28 mars 1944) var en av världens mest omtyckta humorister och satiriker. Mellan åren 1911 och 1925 var han så i ropet att man sa att fler människor i världen hade hört talas om honom än de som hade hört om landet Kanada.
