A saga about a slave girl half breed who focuses on learning her inherent power and doing everything possible to free other slaves and stand up for what's right. There's a love interest who builds her up and supports her cause. There is slow burn and minimal spice. FMC journeys to distant lands to free her slave friends and in return for support from other magical people in that journey she offers her power to fight an invading force that's trying to corrupt a city. It's definitely a saga type series. The series as a whole is very enjoyable. Filled with magical abilities, a sentient form of raw magic, and good verses evil. Great book
