It was engaging even though some character traits and drama was a bit much. The sweet dad described turned really abusive for a bit there and the MMC was also bordelining there. It got better though. It was really well written I think, and even though these book toe the line this one managed to stay away from the whole predator vibe pretty good which was nice. Until the last chapter where it started moving over that line and then in the last sentence where it went all in for it. 😕 that brought it down quite a bit in rating for me. Narration was amazing tho. Really love Aidan’s voice, so yummy and rumbling. 😁
