So disappointed at the narrator they chose :( They should have used the same one as for the Nevernight series, it would have made a world of a difference. The set-up and training reminds me of Nevernight but it’s a new way of storytelling that I enjoyed but it got boring and predictable quickly with the amount of swearing and misogyny. I’ll still read the second one when it comes out and hope the author takes some of the feedback.
