'On Pegasus' wings, I fly like a phoenix
Soaring across continents, clans and counties
Gliding over mountains and seas
Inspired by Euterpe's secret melody
While singing Orpheus' lamentable hymn."

"They say poetry makes it a bit easier to live life,
I hope that these sonnets surmount such heights.
Burning like fire and quenching like water.
The truth, spoken through the word
Of a child staring at the bright star.
A chance, at least, to live twice, here and afar."
