The Sun has been extinguished and has long lain dormant. An old crone exhorts young Embra to reignite the cold, black orb which circles their world. But she’s trapped far beneath the surface, imprisoned, food for the parasitic creatures that rule her dark, godforsaken metal planet. Forced to flee upward, she embarks upon a blind, harrowing journey through the moldering, eternal night of the surface world, bent upon relighting the Sun and returning daylight to her beaten, demoralized people.
