Not what I expected...Bastani exhibits a naive optimism regarding technology and puts an odd amount of faith (given his supposed political leanings) on the prognoses and conclusions of CEOs and other corporate/financial elites - sometimes he can't help fawning over the "innovations" of Bezos, Musk and their likes. Frankly, the bright future he describes sounds like a dystopia...
