NOT ROMANTIC! ⚠️ Forced consent, forced humiliation and situations relating to rape and non-con are present throughout the book. // It has a few semi-sweet moments but becomes cruel, flat and drawn out in between action burst. Although the storyline piques my interest and the world building is quite good, unfortunately the characters are rigid and their progression is minimal. Though, since this is a series starter and the philosophical questions posed by the author, kept me interested and curious, I’m giving the next one a go.
