The voice-acting didn't work for me in this one for two reasons. Mainly because it's so cringey when a voice actor does the voice of the opposite sex. Seeing that they had one female and one male voice-actor and they STILL chose to let them take one chapter each (where they imitated the voices of the characters of the opposite sex) instead of letting the male voice do all male characters and the woman all the female characters - was a terrible choice. The monologues and when they speak as a character of their own sex works well though. The second reason is that the male voice-actor is a bad fit for the MMC's personality since he was described as a golden retriever, yet his voice was very moody and growling. He has a great voice but it wasn't a good match in this book. The book is cute and the plot is ok. I liked the idea of it as it's quite unique, so it was entertaining. I'd like to see their relationship develop a bit more slowly in the beginning, they went from 0 to 100.

Wonderfully complex and loveable characters. Great setting and so fun to get a BTS of the adaptation of a book to a tv-series. Extremely well written, especially the steamy parts. Can’t wait for more from Yulin Kuang.
