Ok, this book was good but not a feel-good book. At least not for me. I’ve you’ve seen cringe worthy movies like “Meet the Fockers”, you might know what I mean. You just know disaster is coming, you just don’t know when or exactly how 😖 So, throughout almost the whole book I was just anticipating the shit to hit the fan 😫 I also struggled with how extremely self-centered the MC was, altho I can also understand why she might think that stuff revolves around her due to her past. It was a painful listen due to these things, yet ofc I needed to find out how it ended. The narrator did a GREAT Persian accent, kudos for that and a good job overall.
