I mean CJ Bloom and Sebastian York! Can there be better narration!? (Hint: the answer is no, there can’t be). Not as dark as the cover and the blurb indicates, but a growly, possessive, insta-falling MMC and a repressed, emotionally abused MFC coming in to her own makes for a great read/listen. The book is entertaining and fun with a lot of snort laugh moments in there. It’s well written although some parts feels a bit drawn out and don’t contribute as much to either the story or the MCs relationship. But if you can just enjoy those for the well written passages they still are then this is a really nice book getting a solid ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Looking forward to the next book in the series and hope for more books by the author who’s a really good writer.

Entertaining read/listen and with superb narration by CJ Bloom & Sebastian York in duet. Not that the title didn’t deliver BUT this is NOT in anyway a dark or dub con read. Much more of a bantery and fun read with some sizzle but not any actual kink or anything but dirty talking and some hot hand action. Clearly in lust for book two already. Yum.
