Over the years, he’s floated in and out of town while a friendship developed between us. It’s probably for the best because I’m not a one-night stand kind of woman.
Which is funny because when he propositions me to be his fake fiancée in order to end a family feud, it turns out I am the kind of woman willing to pretend to be the one he’s in love with.

A sweet and spicy slowburn in true Piper Rayne fashion. Classic romance tropes tell a not so original story but since it’s polished, well written and charmingly told in dual POV:s, it’s enough to keep it interesting. Can surely stand alone but being familiar with the series and the Green family most definitely adds extra depth to both the story itself and the characters personality. All in all it’s well worth a read.
