Off Limits

Cute “Home for Christmas”-type of story with big brothers best friend AND “almost” stepbrother trope going on. Flashbacks to hooking up in collage and the train wreck it turned into, which keeps things from heating up for a long a** time…. It’s sweet, slow and so so familiar. It starts to sizzle and pop but slows and crawls through with some “will they or won’t they”-chapters filled with elaborate descriptions of what people eat, wear and buy. What they do with these objects and where they put them. It’s starting to become a fun game to remember who had what on their sandwich or who hung what piece of clothing on what piece of furniture. But sure. These books do have their charm and appeal, and it does hit the spot when in the mood for some uncomplicated spor-mancing with pre-guaranteed hot pucking and an HEA.
