This is the first I've read in the series, but the author makes it easy enough to piece together relevant bits from the other stories. I understand that it's a modern version of Pride and Prejudice, there are lots of ways this is done well, but overall the language, tone, bickering and pettiness felt incongruous. So not for me, but may be enjoyable for other readers
