During a quick visit to the Claire territory for Celia to bid farewell to her family, Rio and Aishia find a clue about the heroes who were summoned alongside Miharu. They decide to head to Amande to continue their investigation.
Meanwhile, in Beltrant, the lockdown after the bride-snatching incident is finally lifted, allowing Liselotte and her entourage to head home to Amande. Sadly, an unexpected hazard makes flight impossible. Forced to land, they run into Duke Huguenot, who’d been planning to make an unannounced visit to Liselotte at her estate. Liselotte obliges the Huguenot camp’s offer to travel together through the monster forest, on the premise she could use their hero’s protection...and when their caravan is besieged by a massive monster ambush, that protection is put to the test.
