Har inte så mycket erfarenhet av rom-com/chick-lit så har svårt att jämföra. Kan dock säga att jag älskade att lyssna på denna bok. Förutom att berättaren är sjukt bra och inlevelsefull är romanen i sig faktiskt rätt jäkla fyndig. Om du precis som jag inte kan stå ut med kvinnliga protagonister som är helt personlighetsbefriade (typ Bella i Twilight, en karaktär som får alla att vilja kaskadkräkas) så kommer du kanske gilla bad ass bitch- tjejen Henley. Här får du en huvudkaraktärer som faktiskt är intressant, smart, tuff men ändå sympatisk. Framförallt är hon inte ett korkat våp. Visst, boken är lite corny emellanåt och fokuset faller ibland något för mycket på den sexiga killen och hur otroligt sexig han är, osv. Det kan bli lite långtråkigt efter ett tag. Samtidigt är det alltid djup före yta i denna bok och vi som läsare påminns om och om igen om att det är insidan som är det viktigaste. Kan verkligen rekommendera för den som vill ha ett lidelsefullt äventyr utan att behöva offra skärpa och komik!
