Without question my least favorite book by Mr. McMurtry! At least untill i listened to the following books in The Berrybender Narratives. I just could not stand Tasmin Berrybender!! The worst fiction character since Jenny in Forrest Gump! Her whole being made the otherwise interesting story become almost unlistenable! Alfred Molina does an excellent job narrating the story, but despite that I barely managed to listen to the whole series. If You do not get annoyed with whining, self absorbed, aggressive, loud, abusive and generally repulsive people like Tasmin, the story itself is really great and worthwhile. If, on the other hand, You do get annoyed with the above kind of person, I would not listen to the books at all.
