Oh just NO. -So, I usually love a good “Growly Space-hunk struck by insta-LOVE for a tiny yet sassy human abductee”- read. IF there a bit of fun tossed in. Preferably some cheeky sarcasm and lots of poking fun at them selves, love the space crazy feel of K. C. Cross, Ruby Dixon, Ella Maven’s books. So to compare… this is NO SUCH THING. This is unfortunately boring AF and takes itself way too seriously. There’s too much story building, weirdo alien-language and background info crammed into the first few chapters. I just can’t connect with the characters and couldn’t care less what happens to them. Audiobook: Not a fan of the stern school mistress voice that’s portraying a 20 yo earth girl. He’s fine, although a bit stiff 😉 -Nope, not for me. I gave up at 65% sorry, DNF.
